Gretchen Elise returns with an epic performance to celebrate a 21/10 milestone for Fringe Salon:

  • 21 years in business

  • 10 years at BOK, the creative enterprise space formerly known as Bok Tech High School.

Gretchen Elise will be joined by Anam Owili-Eger (keys), Aaron Walker (dr) and Jan Jeffries (perc).

Saturday September 26th 6-10pm at Fringe Salon and the event is FREEEE! (1901 S. 9th St. - Please use the entrance on S. 9th St. just south of Mifflin St.)

Come celebrate a huge milestone with Fringe, the art gallery + hair salon in the Bok Building: 10 years @buildingbok , 21 years in business (another 10 year lease signed!) where we open up the floor for a multi-sensory party experience by @2lipssmackin and @healixer .

New @fringesalonsouthphilly merch drops while live music by @gretchenelisemusic band and beats by @djsideswipe keep it funky. Client appreciation giveaways by @innersensepro and @devacurl and a whole bunch of surprises! Food. Drinks. Kids’ drop-off party downstairs (1st floor Bok) with curly-themed games, activities, dinner and snacks hosted by ZoomDance 7 KG Strong.

Hint! Fringe is releasing a curly girl’s dream item! A new collab with @roomshop …. Stay tuned!

Fundraiser for Crossroads Women's Center

This fundraiser is for the Crossroads Women Center also in the Germantown section that had a fire this past July and closed their space until further notice.  The event is from 1-4pm and the performance time is from 1:30-3:30pm.  There will be various types of performers sharing their talents during the 2 hours window (poets, storytelling, vocalists, etc.). The Karen Smith & Friends Band Personnel: Margel Overton on Keyz, Justin Williams on Bass, Walter Gershon on Sax/percussion and Rob Paul on Drums.
